Cosys Ex
Cosys Ex is a Newcastle upon Tyne based music collective merging traditional roots influences from their respective diasporas. Paying homage to ancient traditions, with bold new arrangements and compositions made for dancing.
Singing in Gaelic, English and Yoruba, from percussive unison to ethereal harmonies. Celtic influenced fiddle and guitar meets with the rich rhythms of the Yoruba talking drum. A collaboration that reminds us that music has no borders.
